Y-stainer introduction and testing principles

Introduction to Y-Stainer

Y-stainer is an indispensable filter device for conveying media in piping systems. Y-stainer is usually installed on the inlet end of a pressure relief valve, pressure relief valve, constant water level valve or other equipment to remove impurities in the medium to protect the valve and equipment. Y-stainer features advanced construction, low resistance and convenient sewage discharge. Y filter applicable media can be water, oil, gas. Generally, the water network is 18~30 mesh, the ventilation network is 10~100 mesh, and the oil network is 100~480 mesh.

Y – Stainer (water filter) belong to the piping thick filter series, can also be used for gas or other medium to large particle filtering, installed on the pipeline to remove large solid impurity in the fluid, the machine equipment (including compressor, pump, etc.), the instrument can work normally and operation, to achieve stable process, the role of guaranteeing production safety. 2. Y-stainer test principle

Bubble point testing principle: when the membrane filter and filter with a certain solution infiltration completely, and then through the air in a side pressure (instrument there is admission control system, can stable pressure, adjust the intake), with the increase of pressure, gas released from the side of the membrane filter, performance on one side and a size, number of bubble film, through the instrument determine the corresponding value is the bubble point pressure.

Diffusion flow test principle: diffusion flow test refers to when the gas pressure in the filter element foaming point value of 80%, then there is no large number of gas perforation, only a small amount of gas dissolved into the liquid phase of the diaphragm, and then from the liquid phase to the other side of the gas phase, this part of the gas is called diffusion flow.

Why is the diffused flow method better? Bubbling point value is only a qualitative value, from the beginning of bubbling to the last group bubbling is a relatively long process, can not be accurately quantified. And the measurement of diffusion flow value is a quantitative value, not only can accurately determine the integrity of the filter, but also reflect the membrane porosity, flow and effective filtration area, which is why now foreign manufacturers are using the diffusion flow method to test the integrity of the reason.

Water intrusion method test principle: water intrusion method is dedicated to the test of hydrophobic filter element, hydrophobic film resistance to water, the smaller the aperture, the greater the pressure required to squeeze water into the hydrophobic film. Therefore, under a certain pressure, measure the water flow into the filter membrane to judge the aperture of the filter element.
