What's the DIN-EN globe valve?

DIN-EN Globe valve is designed and manufactured according to former Germany standard,DIN and nowadays European standard EN13709.it's mainly used in the countries in European Union.

it's linear motion closing-down valve used to start, stop or regulate the flow using a closure member referred as a disc. The seat opening changes proportionately with the travel of the disc which is ideal for duties involving flow regulation. the DIN-EN Globe valves are most suitable and widely used to control or stop the flow of liquid or gas through a pipe for throttling and controlling fluid flow and are generally employed in small size piping.

the DIN-EN Globe valves can be used for throttling purposes as well.Many single-seated valve bodies use cage or retainer-style construction to retain the seat-ring, provide valve plug guiding, and provide a means for establishing particular valve flow characteristics. it can also be easily modified by change of trim parts to change the flow characteristic or provide reduced-capacity flow, noise attenuation, or reduction or elimination of cavitation.

the DIN-EN globe valves can also be modified as globe check valve,SDNR(screw down non-return),with both function of globe valve and check valve(non-return valve).for the high pressure and severe working conditions,the bellows seal is also available on request.

normally there are three primary body patterns or designs for DIN-EN Globe valves:

  • 1).Standard Pattern (also as Tee Pattern or T – Pattern or Z – Pattern)
