The PTFE lined butterfly valve is a quarter-turn industrial valve with a full internal lining of Polytetrafluoroethylene — commonly known as Teflon — that completely isolates process media from the metal valve body. This lining provides superior corrosion resistance for aggressive chemicals, high-purity fluids, and extreme temperatures, making it the preferred choice for demanding industries and thermally challenging working environments.

Both PTFE and PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) liners are available. While PTFE offers excellent broad-spectrum chemical resistance, PFA is often preferred for high-vacuum or dynamically stressed applications due to its superior crack resistance and flexibility under mechanical load.

The split body design allows the liner and internal components to be accessed and replaced without removing the valve from the pipeline, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and total cost of ownership.

A fully lined valve covers all wetted surfaces — body and disc — providing maximum protection in highly corrosive media. A partially lined valve applies PTFE only to the seat, offering a cost-effective solution for less aggressive environments. Both configurations are available on request.

Available in three body styles to suit different pipeline configurations: wafer type, lug type, and double flanged type.
